1. Cancelling a paid subscription

You can cancel a paid Monoshoot subscription from the Billing & Subscription page in your account. The cancellation action marks your subscription to end at the current billing period end.

After cancellation is scheduled, your paid plan remains active until the current period end date shown in your billing page. You will not be charged again for that subscription after the cancellation takes effect.

2. Access after cancellation

You keep access to paid features until the current billing period ends. At the end of that period, your account downgrades to the Free plan unless you subscribe again or switch to another paid plan.

After downgrade, Free plan limits and features apply, including the Free monthly credit limit, watermark behavior, second-image upload restrictions, high-resolution download restrictions, and quality level.

3. Refunds

Refunds are available only if requested within 7 days of subscribing to a paid plan and only if you have used less than 10% of the total image generation credits included with that paid plan.

Approved refunds are issued only after deducting the value of used credits and applicable taxes. If you have used 10% or more of the plan's image generation credits, the subscription is not eligible for a refund unless required by applicable law.

If there is a duplicate charge, billing error, failed activation after payment, or other payment issue, contact support@monoshoot.com so the transaction can be reviewed.

4. Upgrades and downgrades

You may upgrade or downgrade plans from the pricing or billing flow where available. Plan changes may use Dodo Payments checkout and may update the active plan, limits, and feature access based on payment confirmation and webhook processing.

If a downgrade is selected for a paid plan, your available features and monthly limits may change according to the new plan once the change is applied.

5. Generated images and account data

Cancelling a subscription does not automatically delete your account or generated image history. You may still access account data according to the features and limits of your resulting plan.

Where deletion controls are available, you can delete generated images from your history. You can request account and data deletion from the profile section of the tool. Account deletion is completed within 30 days after the user's deletion request, subject to legal, billing, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute, security, and backup retention requirements.

6. Failed payments and expired subscriptions

If a payment fails, expires, or a subscription becomes inactive, Monoshoot may downgrade the account to the Free plan and restrict paid features.

Billing status depends on Dodo Payments events and synchronization. If your payment succeeded but your plan did not activate, use the billing sync flow if available or contact support.

7. Reactivating

You can reactivate by choosing a paid plan again from the Pricing or Billing page, subject to availability, payment confirmation, and current plan terms.
